Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Andrew John Mazur
Still remember you today and visited your memorial bench at El Cid. Thankful for always willing to help me no matter what. Good memories. Definitely would have been apart of the true thin blue line that are still left of were here today.

Your sacrifice is not forgotten Andrew.
I was able to share memorial bands with Canine Training Instructor class 24-34C in San Antonio, TX yesterday. Your story was shared to canine trainers that will deploy all over the United States.
You continue to impact lives, sir.
Love and God’s comfort to your family on this 21st anniversary,

I still miss you brother and think of you often! You died on my wife's birthday, so I always think about you every year on that day. I remember riding with you and the great conversations we had and the fights we got in with suspects!
You are going in the Hall of Heroes at Upstate Warriors Solutions next month. I will stand proud of you as that portrait is hung there! 21 years have passed but you are not forgotten! You were a great deputy and friend. You would be proud of Bryce as her faith in God got her through and has allowed her to have a good life and family. Her parents were at the Annual Memorial Service at the LEC in May. It is always good to see them.
Looking forward to seeing you in Heaven one day!

I still can’t believe that you’re not here. It seems like yesterday that you were in my office at El Cid! I wish that we could go back to those days! I would discourage you from going into law-enforcement! I watched you grow from a kid into a young man, you were the best of men! I still hold you up as an example to all of my students! Thank you for your service! The world didn’t deserve you! Doc

I have been wearing Drew’s memorial band now for 15 years. We are at The Citadel together at the same time, in the sccja 416 class together and graduated. Drew gave the prayer at graduation. We went to work at agencies only 30 minuets apart. His life was influential to all that knew him. His sacrifice will never be forgotten. Love you brother.

Working on Delta you are with us every day. As we go out and patrol. Your life and legacy, along with your death, have inspired, influenced, and most likely saved our lives many times. Although I never met you, Drew, you are obviously a huge part of our lives and will be remembered and missed forever....
