Reflections for Constable David Jackson Payne
To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 77th anniversary year of your death. I am privileged to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service.
My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

Constable Payne, thank you for your years of service Sir. May God watch over your loved ones that lost you so many years ago. Rest easy now my Brother in Law, your watch on earth is over.

To say Thank You for your many years of service and for making the ultimate sacrifice is so inadequate. There are no words to express the gratitude that I have for you and for your family. Sorry it took so long to remember you but now is a great time to say that I'll never forget you.
