Reflections for Police Officer Kelli Lee Lambert
God bless this fallen Officer and her family.
Officer M. A Cooper
Newport News Police Dept.
I didn't know Kelli and I can't say I've visited Wellston much. (I've hardly been out of Knox county.) I don't know why hearing of her death hit me so hard. Maybe it is because she is so young. Maybe because we are so close in age. Maybe because she had dedicated her life to helping and serving others.
When I heard about her death I couldn't stop crying. My heart goes out to her family and friends, to her fellow officers and co-workers, and especially to her fiance Scott Conley and her dog Zoe.
I ask the Goddess to smile upon those left behind and to help them deal with this loss. Watch over the other members of the Wellston Police Department and protect them as they continue to protect us.

I am very saddened to hear of the death of this fine young officer. We are all hurt by her untimely loss. I pray for her family, friends and colleagues. She was an asset to the profession. It is always a heartbreaker to lose such a young officer. She had just begun to live when her life came to an end in such a noble but sad manner.
She now patrols a beat in Heaven with St. Michael. Please be safe and remember that automobiles contiue to kill officers all too often.
Good bye little sister in blue, we have the watch from here. It would have been an honor to work with you.
God Bless and be safe.

What a beautiful young woman. May God bless Kelli Lambert, her family, friends, and coworkers and may you all be comforted somewhat by the knowledge that she is now in a far better place than we where there is no more pain and sorrow. We'll all see her and our loved ones again when we too go home. Until then ...

In an instant our lives were torn apart
And it left a hole down in our heart
We can't imagine what were going to do
Our world is empty and we're missing you
We know you would want us not to cry
But the tears won't stop filling our eyes
We don't understand, we can't imagine
Why someone so special should have to die
Your time on earth was not long enough
And the road for us is going to be rough
We'll always love you, and keep you in our heart
It's time to say goodnight, but not goodbye Sweetheart
Love Uncle Timmy and Aunt Sheila

When a brother or sister officer falls in the line of duty a saddness falls upon you especially one so young and close to home. After reading some of the Reflections left by fellow officers and friends it isnt hard to tell that Kelli was a Great Officer and a Very Loved person not only in her Department but in the community. It sounds like she has touched many people's lives and made them have a much brighter day. Kelli you left a impression with people that youve met that will never be forgotten.
On Behalf of the entire Scioto County Sheriffs Office (OH) we send out our hearts and prayers to the Family and the Welston Community, and Welston PD.
You will not be forgotten.

Kelli was the best Policewoman I have ever known. She loved
her job, and was so dedicated to her work and fellow Officers.
It was her life, and that was how she wanted it. She treated
people with care and respect and was so generous, expecting
nothing in return. There is a huge hole in our hearts that can
never be fixed, but knowing she is in Heaven helps ease the
pain. I am so proud and honored to be your uncle; Kelli.
You are so loved and so sadly missed.
We love you and you will be in our hearts FOREVER and will
NEVER be forgotten. With Love Uncle Jim

We see or little sister on a daily basis and we always have something to talk about. Now the day has come when we can never see her face full of live again. We can reflect on the memories that we have but it is never the same. We remember the times we argued and the times we had of laughter. We miss you Kelli and We love you very much this is for you.........................................................................
We hide our hearts behind a vest that is there to protect us. We hide our emotion when we handle our calls. We hide everything from the public that way we look to have a leather skin, but when we get home we dwell on the bad calls we had through the day. We try to stay tough through the hard times that we have but we can never hide the emotion we feel for you. We go through the tear done stage and we do it anywhere we are at, but at the same time we still have a job to do and do it to our best. You brought the best out of everyone you work with and showed us things to work on but we always thought our little sister and our mother hen would still be here to yell at us. Forever let it be you day to have fun and your day to tell us what to do. Forever you will be 211 to your boys here in the streets of WPD.

All of my sympathy is with the Lambert family: especially her parents David and Vanessa. Also to her friends and fellow brothers on the police force.I knew Kelli and she was surely and angel in uniform. She was an officer that loved her community and she had a great sense of humor. She was the type of person who could brighten anyone's day just by being in the room. She took her job very seriously and she died in the line of duty.Although she was only 21,she would have told you that she has accomplished her goals in her short time on this earth.May God be with Kelli's family throughout this difficult time and may time ease their pain.
Kelli Lee Lambert will be missed deeply and she will continue to watch over her comrades and family from heaven above
I miss you Kelli!

The tears came to my eyes as I sat and watched your funeral procession. I have never seen so many officers in uniform and in patrol vehicles from so many different Ohio cities, all together. My thoughts and prayers are with Officer Kelly Lambert's family, friends and fellow officers of the Wellston Police Department. May God watch over each and everyone of you.
