Family, Friends & Fellow Officers Remember...

Hey Kev,
We all miss you SO much. It's not getting any easier...just more "real". Some days are better than others. Ryley and Emma talk about you every single day. I will never let them forget you. Emma said yesterday that "she wished you could see her as a big girl now". I told her that hopefully you can. Ryley is as big as ever...Yao Ming! :-) You would be so proud of both of them. They are very proud of their Uncle Kevin. Please keep a watch over them. I miss you and love you!

I feel honored to leave this reflection for such a fine human being. Trooper Marshall was obviously a very devoted man to his family and job. My heart goes out to the family he left behind, the department he upheld the law with, and the people he served so well. It is people like Trooper Marshall that motivate me to enter law enforcement. If I could some day be half the Police Officer Trooper Marshall was then I would have gone way about and beyond. Thank you for making this land a safer place for us to live our lives.

Rest easy now, sir. Keep watch over your brothers and loved ones from heaven.

To Angie and kids, I stop by Kevin's memorial every day to pay my respects. Your suffering must still be so very hard to contend with at times. Seeing his photo brings tears to my eyes every time. Keep the faith, and remember that you are always and forever in the thoughts and prayers of many people; those of whom you know and don't know, from sea to shining sea. We are grieving with you. God's peace be with you, and may Kevin rest peacefully, too. He will never be forgotten.

Well, we did what we said we probably never would do...went on a cruise! It was a great experience. You would have loved it. Mark actually thought for a brief moment the ship was gone to "tip over"! You would have been laughing your a** off!! I thought about you often and how when we got home I was going to call and tell you all about it....but of course that's not possible. I still can't believe it sometimes...... I miss you.
