Dear Marshall Family,

I just returned from the 2005 National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Service in Washington D.C. As I saw Tpr. Marshall's name on the wall, it brought back many sad memories. Although I did not personally know Tpr. Marshall there is a definite bond that all Michigan State Police Troopers have with one another. My thoughts and prayers continue to be with Tpr. Marshall's family. The MSP family will always be here for your family. I pray we never have to add another name to the MSP Fallen Trooper Memorial or the NLEOM wall.
