Reflections for Trooper Kevin Michael Marshall
THINKING OF YOU AND MISSING YOU, AS ALWAYS. YOU KNOW WHY.
June 11, 2006
And if I go, while you're still here....
know that I live on,
vibrating to a different measure
behind a thin veil you cannot see through.
You will not see me,
so you must have faith.
I wait for the time when
we can soar together again,
both aware of each other.
Until then, live your life to its fullest
and when you need me,
just whisper my name in your heart,
.....I will be there.

Kevin, we honor your memory every day and pray to you to guide us and help us to make the right choices as you did. You are missed by many and we will forever honor you, Angie, Anthony and Danielle! We love you guys!

A brother officer from Michigan fell in the line of duty yesterday (PO Jason Makowski, Dearborn Hts PD). I know you'll show him around upstairs; also, please watch over his family, especially over the next few weeks... Rest in peace, Troop!

People honor you in their own way and there are more than we know. Those that knew you well know you were a private person and can never be forgotten! We honor you each day we live our lives to the best of our abilities.

This reminded me of you.
"Love all, trust few. Do wrong to none."

"As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words but to live by them."
-John F. Kennedy
Thank you for your service Tpr. Marshall. We will honor you.

"It is not how you died that makes you a hero, it is how you lived". Many try to claim a piece of you, however, very few truly honor you or your memory.

I saw this today and thought of you. I know your spirit lives through so many.
A wise man once said: "Like a breath to the human body, remembrance makes the spirit live."

I thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new.
I thought about you yesterday and days before that too.
I think of you in silence, I often speak your name.
All I have are memories and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is my keepsake, with which I'll never part
God has you in His keeping, I have you in my heart.

Angie, you are in our hearts and prayers. Always! We share your grief and loss and miss Kevin with you. May God bless you and your kids, every day forever. Kevin will be greeting you someday, with wide open arms, and you'll be together again.

...."Middle of Summer".....

On any day it could happen to any one of us yet we still trudge on. Throw on that blue "super suit" and save the world we say...all for the good of man and for the love of our families.
You are not forgotten and the lesson of your life will forever remain with us as we continue to carry out our duties as you would have done.
God Bless

Thinking of you.....
April 1, 2006
How can it be that you are REALLY gone from this world...that we can't see you, touch you, talk to you? Sometimes I just still can't believe it. Help us to honor you in the best way that we are able.

Things just aren't the same without you, Kevin. The weekends, the summer months, and the years. You are missed more than you know (and probably would have guessed!). Life goes on and we continue to make it through. The fond memories of our friendship greatly help. And your character continues to inspire many of us during the tough times. Your legacy is second to none. You deserve it! You'll never be forgotten.
