Reflections for Sergeant Michael Walter Johnson

Sergeant Johnson, it has been 21 years since you were taken from us. Northern New England law enforcement has continued to thrive, learn and become safer due to the traditions and sacrifices you, your family, and many others have made for us. Thank you for your 16 years of law enforcement service.

Sergeant Johnson, it has been 20 years since you were taken from us. I still remember being at the law enforcement walk-through and your funeral. The whole town of Bradford was there, and the tiny funeral home was overwhelmed. Even the local Subway named a sandwich in you honor. I order and took home a Big Mike sandwich that day. Northern New England law enforcement has continued to thrive, learn and become safer due to the traditions and sacrifices that you and too many others have made for us. Thank you for your service.

Tomorrow will be 20 years since you were taken from us all, M.J. It seems like yesterday to us. David and I stopped over to visit you a couple of weeks ago. You were a good friend to our whole family. Love and peace to you always, Mike.
