I'm sorry to hear about Deputy Quarles' death. He sounds like he was a very dedicated deputy. I read on his agency's website that he was a police explorer advisor, and I very much respect and appreciate that. I was an explorer for 5 years and the explorers need dedicated officers such as him to model for them how to honorably serve as police officers. Rest in peace Deputy Quarles, well done.
