Reflections for Conservation Officer Douglas Wayne Bryant
So many lives affected by one act of stupidity. Rest easy, sir. May God comfort those you leave behind and may he show no mercy on your killer. You will not be forgotten, hero.
Deputy M. Moore
Warren County S.O. (OH)
I reflect, and remember:
All gave some
And some gave all
Some stood through
For the red, white and blue
And some had to fall
And if you ever think of me
Think of all your liberties
And recall
Some gave all. (unknown writer)

My thoughts and prayers are with the family and department of Officer Bryant. May the Lord comfort you!
A Police Prayer
When I start my tour of duty God
Wherever crime maybe,
As I walk the darkened streets alone,
let me be close to Thee.
Please give me understanding
with both the young and old.
Let me listen with attention
until their story's told.
Let me never make a judgement
in a rash or callores way,
but let me hold my patience,
let each man have his say.
Lord, if some dark and dreary night.
I must give up my life.
Lord, with your understanding love,
protect my children and wife.

I am so very sad to hear of the murder of this fine veteran officer. I pray for his family, friends and colleagues. Though no words can express how I feel or take the grief away from his loved ones, we all grieve when an officer is lost. We are all family of the badge, no matter where we work or what uniform we wear.
His family, friends and colleagues are in my thoughts and prayers. He now stands a post in Heaven with St. Michael.
God Bless and be safe.
