To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 86th anniversary year of your death. I am priviliged to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

Sergeant Brown, today is the 79th anniversary of your death. It’s sad that the man who was the initial victim, while trying to shoot his killer, missed him and killed you. I hope the man who caused the entire incident got plenty of jail time if not more.

Your service to the Louisville and Nashville Railroad was vital to the commerce of our country and much appreciated. Your death was tragic and a loss to your families, at work, but most especially at home.

God Bless you Brother and may you continue to Rest in Peace.
