This is my grandfather. I never knew. Born too late, I guess. I am still proud of him and would have loved to have talked to him just once. I do know my father had to quit school in the 4th grade and go to work to help support the rest of the family.

Although they could not save you it is obvious that over 1,000 citizens were determined that your killer would not escape justice.May you Rest in Peace.

Policeman Daugherty had to have served his city well; a manhunt, for the suspect, involving over 1000 citizens and the suspect had to be moved to avoid being lynched by the citizens! It's evident that the citizens of Crisfield cared for the job Policeman Daugherty did and we do too. you will never be forgotten.
