Officer Beell wrestled in my home town of Baltimore at the Lyric Theater and was defeated by Gus "Americus" Shoenfeld. He lost his wrestling championship that night but went on to be a champion of another sorts in Marshfield. His service and life will never be forgotten.

Baltimore Police Department

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 80th anniversary year of your death. I am priviliged to be among the first to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

mom of fallen Pittsburg (CA) officer Larry Lasater

I AM FROM MARSHFIELD, AND GREW UP A BLOCK AWAY FROM THE FOOTBALL STADIUM NAMED AFTER OFFICER BEELL. I OFTEN THINK OF HOW A GREAT PERSON HE MUST HAVE BEEN AND THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE HE GAVE. I WOULD LIKE TO THINK I ENTERED LAW ENFORCEMENT PARTLY BECAUSE OF MR. BEELL.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE
RESPECTFULLY,

KURT
