Reflections for Police Officer Johnathan "Cole" Martin
officer martin iam so sad that you had to leave the brotherhood and sisterhood in blue so soon but i suspect that god had better plans for a new beet in heaven altho i know that does not make things any better for your family but atleast the endless fight here on earth trying to keep that blue line as tight as we can you wont have to worry anymore about that maybe from heaven you can look down on your fellow officers and kinda steer them in the right way you know but all i can say my friend is god speed and all my best to your family that you have to leave behind dear brother

So terribly sad that we have to say goodbye to another young officer. Please watch over us from Heaven, and know that you will forever be a hero to us all - regardless of whether or not we knew you personally.
God Bless those young Officer Martin left behind and know that you are in our prayers.

Saint Michael, heaven's glorious commissioner of police, who once so neatly and successfully cleared God's premisesof all its undesirables, look with kindly and professionaleyes on your earthly force.
Give us cool heads, stout hearts, and uncanny flair for investigation and wise judgment.
Make us the terror of burglars, the friend of children and law-abiding citizens, kind to strangers, polite to bores, strict with law-breakers and impervious to temptations.
You know, Saint Michael, from your own experiences with the devil, that the police officer's lot on earth is not always a happy one; but your sense of duty that so pleased God, your hard knocks that so surprised the devil, and your angelic self-control give us inspiration.
And when we lay down our night sticks, enroll us in your heavenly force, where we will be as proud to guard the throne of God as we have been to guard the city of all the people. Amen.

Even at the young age of 20, you have already become a Hero to us all. Rest easy brother, your work here is done, yet will never be forgotten...YOU will never be forgotten.

How sad,to die so young. We are all saddened by this death and we all share in the sense of loss. We are a family of the badge, even though we wear different uniforms and work for different agencies. He was a credit to the profession. I pray for his family, friends and colleagues.
He now patrols the streets of Heaven with St. Michael. Be safe and God Bless.

I was saddened to read about the death of this young man. My sympathies go to his family, friends and workmates. A young life cut short.
He was doing what each and every one of us have done for years.
Rest in Peace

To the family, friends and fellow officers of Officer Martin, I am truly sorry for your loss. Officer Martin was way to young to lose his life. I will there were words of comfort that I had which could take your pain away, but I know first hand that there isn't. Know that you are not alone and we all mourn the loss an officer who gives his life protecting us. I will pray for you.
