I was deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Officer Aaron J. Blount. Last year I lost a special friend in the line of duty and she was the same age as Aaron. There are no words at a time like this to console family members, friends and brothers in law enforcement. However, you must be thankful that you were blessed enough to have had him in your life, even if it was only for a short time. I know that Aaron's sacrifice was not in vain and I am thankful that there are people out there like him that are willing to put their life on the line every day to keep me safe.
To Aaron's parents and fiance, please know that there are many people out here praying for the Holy Spirit to wrap his loving arms around you and comfort you through this life altering time.
Rest in peace Officer Aaron J. Blount, the world has lost one more hero.

My condolences deepest sympathies to the family of Officer Blount. It saddens me that another fellow Georgia Law Enforcement Officer has been killed in the line of duty. There are no words to express the sorrow that the family, community, and agency will suffer because of the thoughtless and callous acts of others. Rest peacefully young man, we will ensure the weight of justice is brought against your murderers. Again, I am sorry for your loss.

It saddens me to read on yet another fallen brother giving the ultimate sacrifice to this never changing world. To the surviving loved ones of Police Officer Aaron J. Blount, be blessed in knowing that your loved one is one of the many who took the inital step in doing something to make this world a safer place rather than be those who merely complain about it. Rest assured that he is resting in the arms of the Lord looking down upon us all and giving us his blessing and strength to continue this battle on our streets we call home. May God be at your side....
God Bless Him
