God Bless you brother
Officer

Another Hero snatched from us too soon. Officer Blount, thank you for your courage, you undoubtedly prevented an innocent civilian from harms way. To his family, friends, and co-workers, you will hold his memories close and smile everytime you rmemeber a special event you shared, he is in the company of God's army and serving a special mission. The sadness I feel for your fiance and young son is immense. We will never know "why", but will trust in the Lord that his plan is perfect and you will see your loved ones soon. God Bless....

The citizens of South Fulton County were fortunate to have such a fine officer protecting them from the elements of crime. He gave his all while protecting those he served and the community he loved.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, co workers and all those in law enforcement still serving and protecting. May God put his protective arms around you all.

Officer Blount is my age and we both have around the same amount of time on the job. He is a stranger in theory, but a brother in reality. He will be avenged and I'm sure many good men are not sleeping until he is.
On behalf of the 37,000 sworn members of the NYPD, our prayers and thoughts and assistance goes out to the Blount family and his fiancee, and his coworkers. Be proud and know he was doing his job. He was saving lives, while giving his.

It is hard to find the words to express how I feel as a brother in blue but I send my prayers to your family, fiance' and child. I also pray for your brothers in blue as many of your friends are also my friends and we all serve in the same communities. You will be missed by us all and we will continue the fight in your, and the many others', honor. God's speed Officer Blount. May your next beat be lined with great restraunts and slow bad guys...

As we escorted the EMS unit to the hospital I prayed that you would be O.K. Once I opened the door to the unit I knew that you were gone. But I knew you were O.K. now you are part of a very special police force, watch over us and keep us safe. May God Bless your family and the many friends left behind.

You fell protecting the citizens of this city and the local newspaper doesn't even run a front page story on you. They ran a story of a bicycle race. Can you imagine? There are those of us who honor your courage, and know your new beat is paved with gold and free of crime. May God bless your mother, fiance and child, and give them peace.

May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face
May the rain fall gently upon your fields
And until we meet again
May God hold you in the palm of his hand
God bless you and your family.

My prayers are with Officer Blount's family, friends & co-workers. I know how difficult it is to lose someone you love in the line of duty. Trust in God to help you through and lean on those who offer to help you. There are many people (some survivors like myself) who will help pray you through. I still pray everyday for the strength to deal with the heartache. Know that your loved one will never be forgotten.

The urgent calling of nature longs to be tested, seeks to be challenged beyond itself. The warrior within us beseeches Mars, the god of War, to deliver us to that crucial battlefield that will redeem us into the terrifying immediacy of the moment. We want to face our Goliath so we may be reminded that the warrior David is alive, in us. We pray to the war gods to guide us to the walls of Jerrico so we may dare the steadfastness and strength of our trumpet call. We aspire to be defeated in battle by powers so much greater than ourselves, so that the defeat itself will have made us larger than when we arrived. We long for the encounter that will ultimately empower us with dignity and honor....Be not mistaken: the longing is there and it's terrible and beautiful and tragic.

As a Fulton County native, I know that his zone was a dangerous one to patrol. It took a brave man to do his job. There are many factors that make it difficult. It is obvious he was going to try to prevent something from happening, or prevent someone from being hurt. Another young "soldier" killed in action. I for one, thankyou, PO Blount, for trying to make my home a safer place to be and live. My heart aches with the loss.
Another hero taken so suddenly, rest in peace Brother Aaron, you will never be forgotten.
