Reflections for Narcotics Agent James Raphael Kerrigan
Thinking of you on this day, the 88th anniversary of your death. Some may not not know this but one of your two sons, James R. Kerrigan Jr. was killed in action at the Battle of the Bulge on December 26, 1944, and is buried in the American Cemetery in Luxembourg. You are a family of true American heroes and I thank both of you for your service and ultimate sacrifice.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 83rd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
