To his law enforcement friends, please consider riding with us as we honor all law enforcement officers who are killed in the line of duty. We are starting to organize a Florida Chapter. The Police Unity Tour is the biggest supported of the NLEOM. Again, my heart aches for your pain. May he always be lovingly remembered.

It is so hard to come to this Web Page and see another one fallen.
To the family of Deputy Billings: You are not alone, we are all with you in spirit. We have walked this path that is before you now. Every step you take we will be thinking and praying for you. I wish I could give you more words of comfort, but know that we are with you.
There are really no words to express how we feel in your loss. When another officer falls it brings back memories to the day that the knock came to our door and the terrible news was delivered to us. As you live this, we relive ours too.
God bless you and keep you.

To the family, friends and fellow brothers and sisters wearing the blue. It is known all too well what a senseless tragedy it is when one of our own is ripped from his/her duties and laid to rest. Deputy Billings only served for a short time; however the sacrifice he made, your memory will serve us forever...

My ex-husband, Jay Carruth, whom I was married to for 8 years and have 2 little girls with, was shot and killed in the line of duty on February 20, 2003. To the family of Officer Billings, I understand your awful pain. Just know that in time things will get better. There are so many people that understand your grief and will be praying for your family. I am one of them. God will make a way, when there seems to be no way. God bless you, Officer Billings.
