Your heroism and service is honored today, the 83rd anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Sgt. Awe, today marks the 78th anniversary of your brutal murder. You worked hard to protect America’s railways and thus, America’s economy. For your efforts, one lone corrupted lowlife took your life. Your efforts were not in vain and I thank you for them. You are a true hero.
God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.
