Far too often railroad police officers are not noticed or not acknowledged. I am glad to see Sergeant Parkhouse honored here. Justice may be blind, but these officers are the healthy eyes of the rails. God bless Frank Parkhouse, and his fellow high-iron officers for their work and countless sacrifices.

Today marks the 84th anniversary of your murder by a fellow employee of the railroad over a couple of bottles of whiskey. I know back then that real whiskey could be tough to come by but to murder a police officer over it is just insane. Did this clown actually think he’d get away with it?
Sergeant Parkhouse, I honor your memory and pray that justice was eventually done. I know you are resting comfortably in Heaven and never truly left the ones who knew and loved you.
God Bless, Brother.
