Your heroism and service is honored today, the 85th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Laslater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Patrolman Switzer -
My mother was born in Pawhuska in 1928. My white grandfather and my Osage grandmother may have benefitted from your protection and service. Based upon his life story, my grandfather...well, let's just say...may have crossed your path once or twice. Those were wild days for him. He went on to fnally get sober and later, in his 70's became a town constable in Colorado.
I thank you for doing your duty and setting an example of courage for others to follow. May God bless your survivors and grant you eternal rest.
