Reflections for Town Marshal Charles Wilmer Chapman

Thank you everyone for your very nice comments. They are greatly appreciated. I only hope no more names appear on the LEOMF wall from on duty deaths. My brother Larry has also passed. His sons have turned out as great people. Thank you.

Rest In Peace Marshall Charles Chapman. While working on my family tree I believe we are related. I believe our grandmothers were 1st cousins. I am a police dispatcher, my father was a police officer. It’s nice to see it runs in the family. Gone but never forgotten. We’ll take it from here sir.

Rest in Peace, cousin. Your service will never be forgotten. Your death was not an accident, but a murder. The officer that 'shot' you wanted your wife. I am not an officer, but would like to re-open your case and right a horrible wrong. Everyone is gone now that could help. I'm so sorry.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 65th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.
