Today would have been our 30th wedding anniversary. This week our youngest son is graduating from basic training. I know you are as proud of the way our kids turned out as I and hope you are smiling down at the adults they have become....I miss you....Jan

To Sgt. Earl Hall and his loved ones:
On this the fourth anniversary week of your tragic death, please know that your memory is honored and revered today.
My heart goes out to your family. You’re in our thoughts and our prayers.
Earl, you rescued us, saved our possessions, our lives and our families. You are one of the rare heroes among us. You were always there for us in the most traumatic moments of our lives. No matter when we called, we just expected that you would come and do whatever it took to help us, and you always met our expectations. Your selflessness and dedication are awe-inspiring.
This world, this country, your community truly are better places because of you. To have lost you is a great tragedy, an irreplaceable, immeasurable loss for society. We are grateful for and to you, and honor you for all you did for us day in and day out whether you received a word of thanks or praise.
Rest in Peace, Sgt. Hall.
This reflection is sent with the utmost respect for the distinquished service Earl gave to his community and the citizens of Texas, and for the supreme sacrifice he and his family made on March 4,2002.

Earl, you were the best Son-Of- A- B*** I ever met. Your were so much fun to be around. When I walk across the cross walk from 250 to the main I always think of you, and your decision to put it there. I think of the time you responded as a Street Detective and talk to me about a family violence arrest. I think about the time you stopped a dude for crossing mid-block only to find out he had robbed a 7-11. Earl, you left me the best memories. I hope our pride in you shines up to heaven, and more importantly I hope it warms your wife's heart.

The Poem from your wall
Patrol's Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for today
All the bad guys went to Jail and All the good guys went home to their families
If tomorrow is like today
We'll take it
If it isn't
With your jelp and guidance we'll handle it
One call at a time
Amen

Not a day goes by when I don't turn, expecting to see you walk through the door. We are still fighting and will not give up. I could not disgrace your memory that way.
