Reflections for Detective James Verneuil Nemorin
While at the Cemetery of the Holy Rood on Long Island selecting a crypt for my mother, I was lucky enough that the first crypt I saw, was Detective Nemorin. I knew then this was the place she would be, and my mother would rest in the best of company.

am glad tor the verdict and thankful that the death penalty still exists in the federal courts so that these two families received the full measure of justice they deserved for the brutal murder of their loved ones. I am remembering with gratitude the service and supreme sacrifice of Detectives Andrews and Nemorin today and hold all who call them beloved in my heart's embrace.

Sir I never knew you but you are a hero!! I admire you and respect you. Too many times we honor our soldiers fighting overseas...but not enough is spent honoring the men fighting in our streets.

Its hard to believe that you were killed 10 years ago. Your children have grown to be very special young people, and you would have been proud of them yesterday.
Rest in Peace James.
