TO MRS BLANTON AND FAMILY OF TROOPER MICHAEL BLANTON, I'M SO SORRY TO HEAR OF YOUR LOSS, I ALSO LOST SOMEONE VERY SPECIAL TO ME IN THE LINE OF DUTY. What a tragic loss for Virginia! We are losing too many good brothers and sisters in blue here in Virginia this year. You are the 3rd this month and will be sorely missed. I pray for your wife, son, co-workers and family & friends. Noone can explain the why's of these tragic events. Everyone says things happen for a reason but I can't for the life of me figure that one out.

To the family, I pray for peace in your heart, strength to get through this rough period ahead of you and that you understand how respected Mike is and that we all know he was a hero!!!
