To the wife, family, friends, coworkers and especially the friends my heart and prayers go out to you all. May God be with you in this terrible time of loss, and the the kids of Deputy Jones remember always that your dad is a true HERO always.

I wish to express my deepest sympathy to the Jones family and the deputies of the Garfield County Sheriff's Department over the tragic loss of Deputy Sheriff David Jones. Another brave brother in arms has been taken from us. May God bless the Jones family during this very sad time and may our brother David rest in peace. David has now gone to patrol the streets of Heaven with St. Michael and his angels. Never forget the fallen hero!
