18 years, yet still feels like yesterday that we received that horrible call. What a year it has been Joe! AJ graduated and off to college . Rich retired , with you keeping a watchful eye. And don't even get me started on covid. Wow was your dad pissed to stay up here in the cold weather for so long!
Missing you always

I never met you. But in 2010 I won the scholarship in your name. My school didn't tell me until the day of the award ceremony and I was scheduled to work so I was unable to accept my award from your wife.
When I found out I had not been there for such a meaningful award I felt terrible. I've always kept your pin.
Today was my first day on the road, and your pin will stay in my pocket every day.
Thank you. You're not forgotten.

Sach, we just wanted to take a second to remember you on the tenth anniversary of your passing. In some ways it seems so long ago, but the loss of your friendship makes it feel like it happened yesterday. May God protect your family. Rest in peace my friend!

Your heroism and service is honored today, the ninth anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never dimishes respect, and your memory will always be honored and revered. I pray for the solace of all those who love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. I hold your family in my heart's embrace today.
Rest In Peace
