We your brothers mourn your loss. Watch over us from your new post - you are safe now. ". . . And when we lay down our night sticks, enroll us in your Heavenly Force, where we will be as proud to guard the throne of God as we have been to guard the city of men !!"

Such a sad day when another officer was taken without any reason. May God watch over your family, friends and your department during this time of such pain.

To Officer McGarry's family, friends and co-workers at the Myrtle Beach Police Department, I offer my deepest condolances. As a fellow survivor and Police Officer, my best advice is this. Support each other, cry with each other and stay close to one another. Officer McGarry's family needs the support of his fellow officers and friends. To Officer McGarry's family, his co-workers and friends need your support as well. This is a tragedy to lose such a young officer. Heed the same advice that was once given to me and you will all see this thru. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all.
