God Speed Officer Wood. I know there are no words to ease the pain that your family and department are going through right now. No one can answer the "why's" because nothing seems to make sense anymore. We experienced a great loss last year with losing one of our own, and the greatest comfort to me was to see so many officers from so many jurisdictions come to honor a hero. You have served well, now you can rest with all the other heroes that have gone before.
