Shelby had her surgery, every day she gets stronger.
The big brown dog you got Haley for her birthday when she was little, Shelby took that with her to the hospital, when she was in pain she would ask for her Scotty dog and give it a big hug.
I know you are looking after her.
Love you, miss you.

I left this poem for Jessica and your Mom really liked it so I thought I would share it.
Like falling leaves the
years drift by, but our
fond memories of you
will never die.
In our hearts you will
always stay, loved and
remembered every day.
Unseen, unheard, you are
always near, still loved,
still missed, still very dear.

Just returned from another sibling retreat. Words do not express how much the friends that I have made at that retreat through the years mean to me. They always tell us that positive things happen from tragedies and I do believe that. I still miss you very much and wish you were here with us, but I know that you have had something to do with the direction all of our lives have taken and I can not thank you enough for that. There is not a day that I do not think of you. Thank you for watching over all of us and sending the positive our way!
Love you,
Andrea

I found a penny today
laying on the ground.
But its not just a penny,
this little coin I've found.
Found pennies from Heaven,
thats what my Grandpa told me.
He said Angels toss them down.
Oh, how I loved that story.
He said when an Angel misses you,
they toss a penny down.
Sometime to cheer you up,
to make a smile out of your frown.
so, don't pass by that penny
when you're feeling blue
It may be a penny from Heaven
that an Angel's tossed to you.
Thank you for all my pennies,
they do bring a smile.
Miss you.

Buried you 8 years ago today. I remember looking into that hole and wishing I could go with you. It hasn't been easy and I'm trying hard to make the best of everything. Trying to move forward and live and not give up. I woke up on the 11th at 230 and couldn't sleep anymore. I truly miss you. My rock. My love. My heart.
I'll see you soon,
Love you forever,

After 8 long years, not a day goes by that I don't think about you just wishing I could see you, talk with you and
give you a big hug and a great big kiss.
We had the get together in the back yard, only this year we had a big tent, with the threat of rain we didn't want to chance it.
Another great turn out with your family, friends, and co-workers, always so nice to see and talk with them.
The Metro Pipes and Drums took time out of their busy day to play in your Honor.Jordan played the drums, another great honor for her to play for you.
Your friend from N.J.called, hope one year he can make it.
We went out to the cemetery to send our love and balloons up to you. Again your headstone looked so shiny.
Watch over Jordan as she starts her drivers training, can't
believe she is old enough for this step.
Watch over Haley and Shelby, they are all growing up so fast.
Dad and I send our love.

I remember getting the call early in the morning in 2002 as we celebrated your life tonight. While we didn’t know you for a long time, I think it was fate that brought your Mom and Dad to us. We have you and Jessica to thank for the friendship that has developed over that past eight years.
You are love and missed by many,

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 8th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
I pray for the solace of all those who love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever.
Rest In Peace

I will always remember exactly what I was doing when the call came that your watch had ended. Today I will remember you and your family as they gather to honor you. You would be so proud of your family in all that they do to help others who are going through what they are. You will always be missed.

Scott: I was retired (after 40 years) when you came on the job. So I did not get a chance to know you. But be sure that I consider you my brother/partner/friend and hero. I wish that I could have been there to cover your back, but I get some satisfaction knowing that my daughter was the prosecutor, who handled your case. You will always be remembered. Rest in peace.

When I opened ODMP today, you were the featured officer on the Home Page and I thought I would stop at your page and leave a short note. I know those that love you dearly think of you daily for they carry your loving memories in their broken hearts. Continue to keep watch over all of your loved ones and close friends. You will never be forgotten.
