Our prayers are with you in your time of sorrow! We lost an officer in May from a similar cold-blooded act. She, too, was engaged to be married to a fellow officer. God bless you all! Officer Stewart may be gone but he'll not ever be forgotten!

Scott, I saw you in court many times but never had the opportunity to speak with you personally. Just to know that you're in a better place now comforts me more than anything. You did your time in hell on the streets of Detroit.

Just last week I was present at the funeral service of Hazel Park (MI) police officer, Jessica (Nagle)Wilson.
And now we have lost another. The Michigan Blue Line has tragically become thinner these past couple of weeks, but it serves to bring those of us who keep the peace in Michigan closer together.
While many of us wonder "why," remember that the acts of cowardice that took Jessica, Scott, and all others who wear the badge from us will be tried harshly in the end by the ultimate judge and jury.
RIP P.O. Stewart, and may God keep your family and friends. Watch over those of us who continue your work, and know that you fought the good fight.

Officer Stewart was courageous, and paid the ultimate price in what we do everyday. His loss is felt throughout the Nation and being a Canadian Police officer, it hits us just as hard up here as well, my sincere condolences to the Officer's Family and the rest of the Detroit P.D, it truly fills my heart with grief, to hear that we have lost yet another protector, and Angel in our community, I hope that he is smiling down on us right now, because his watch is finally over, thank you Officer Stewart, you are truly an inspiration to us all.

To the family of Officer Scott Stewart I send my condolences. I heard what happened on the 1100 news. Another officer dies doing what they loved to do. I can only hope that now Lansing will bring back the death penality for cop killers. Be strong as he is watching over you all....
