God Bless Officer Wilson for being a hero. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the husband and family of Officer Wilson. We lost a sister and heaven gained another blue angel to watch over those of us left here to fight.

Another coward strikes down another officer in the prime of her life, my thoughts and prayers go out to Jessica and also her husband and family as they try to make sense of this senseless act. We all know in the back of our head that something like this can happen and it sounds like Jessica reacted in the way she was trained to. God Speed sister until we meet again.
Sr, Patrol Ofc Kevin Armstrong
Anchorage Police Department
God has a special place for her. I'm sorry for the terrible loss.
Officer Brian Cook
Memphis Police Department
How tragic! To think you are going to a "simple" animal complaint and end up being shot three times. Officer Wilson, I know you are in a much better place. May God Bless you, your husband, family, and co-workers. Rest in peace.

To the family, friends and colleagues of Officer Wilson, the International Association of Women Police extends our most sincere condolences on her tragic line-of-duty death. We salute Jessica for putting on the uniform and going out to do the job every day. Though I did not know her, I am certain that she was a source of pride to her family and the town for which she worked. She will now, and forever more, be known as a hero whose life was taken by a coward. As the NLEOMF quote states, "It is not how these officers died that made them heroes, it how they lived."
I cannot imagine the pain that her husband, Matthew is experiencing, as well as the anguish of her dear family. You all will be in our prayers and in the prayers of a grateful nation that now knows how fragile the thin blue line has become. All of us in law enforcement must take from this event the knowledge that every call has the potential to become a fight for one’s life. Officer Wilson was the first officer and the first female officer to die in the line of duty for her department. May there never be another. You'll now walk your beat on Heaven's streets. Godspeed Jessica.

My thoughts and prayers go to Jessica and her family for this tragic loss. I remember the smiling face, and the upbeat spirit of Jessica back in college like it was yesterday. She always seemed to be very positive in everything that she did and never doubted her abilities. I admired that in her. I will always remember her and what she stood for. She will always have a place in my heart.
Trooper Marc A. Shore

There are very few people that I would trust my life with. Jessica was one of those very few. I graduated the police academy with Jessica and will always remember her as a very warm and friendly person. She made the ultimate sacrifice to protect her community. She will never be forgoten and will always be missed.

To Officer Wilson's family. There no words that can make this any easier for you. Draw the comfort from those around you and many prayers will be offered for you and the family.
We don't understand why these things happen, but we know that God is always near and he has promised to never leave us or forsake us.
My son was ambushed on September 6, 2001 when he stepped out of his Patrol Car to investigate some suspicious activity. He did not have a chance.
It will take a long time to come to terms with this, if we can. I still have not.
Take one day at a time and hang in there, that is what she would have wanted.
God bless each of you and may you feel his loving arms about you, comforting you and assuring you that he is there beside you.
In Memory of
Hamilton County Deputy Sheriff: Donald Kenneth Bond, Jr.

My God, what a beautiful woman she was. GOD bless Officer Wilson's husband, family, friends, and coworkers in their time of absolute grief .. and GOD bless this young woman as she enters glory where no more harm can come to her. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

As the wife of a police officer, my deepest condolences go out to Officer Wilson's family. May you take comfort in knowing Jessica died a hero. But more importantly, she lived a hero and will be remembered for that.
I can't imagine a pain worse than losing a child. To Officer Wilson's parents I offer a prayer for comfort. Losing a spouse is something that enters my mind daily. To Officer Wilson's husband, I offer a prayer for peace. May God bless the family, friends and law enforcement family Jessica left behind.

Jessica, I was saddened to learn of the death of a Hazel Park Police Officer. I was even more upset to learn that it was you, who I knew as fellow Ferris State Bulldog Jessica Nagle. God Bless you Jessica, and may you rest in peace.
To your family, husband, friends, Rob, and fellow officers, I extend my deepest condolences.
Deputy Mike Brown #77
Alcona County Sheriff's Office
My deepest condolences go out to Jessica's husband, family, and co-workers. We go to dozens of animal complaints, never with the notion that it's the type of call where we could lose our life. It's a grim reminder that EVERY call has the potential to be deadly. RIP Sister Wilson.

To the family and friends of Officer Wilson, my sincerest condolences. Having lost my brother less than 2 months ago, I know that words do not ease the pain. Comfort one another. She's now in the company of others like her, who lived to serve. One of those is Jonnie, and she couldn't have a better welcoming committee.
I'm so sorry.
