A belated Merry Christmas in Heaven. While we continue to miss you dearly, we know that you are with us. Things have been a little stressful with Dad burning both his feet and Ron on Hospice. In fact, Ron joined you in Heaven on the 26th and I’m sure you welcomed with open arms.

We made it through the day. Like everyone says, wow, it's been 15 years! I can remember it so clearly that it seems like it was yesterday. Then I think of all the changes that have taken places. Marriages, divorces, baby's being born and the loses of family members. You would be so much in love with your nieces and nephew. I wonder if you would have had children. I guess we will never know

I watched a video tribute for you today. I laughed and cried at those pictures. The grief is still there, not as raw, but still there. It truly feels like yesterday that you began your tour of duty above. I miss you terribly! Thanks for coming into my dreams periodically. It's nice to see your face and hear voice. What a couple a emotional days! Katelyn graduated from high school yesterday. I know you were looking down on her which such pride. She loves and misses you so much.

Today would have been your 40th birthday. We all went to the Tigers Law Enforcement night to celebrate. It was a beautiful night in Detroit. While I was dreading this day, I think the anticipation was worse than the day itself. I hope you, Grandma and Grandpa celebrated up in Heaven.
