I visited the park today where Deputy Tarsia’s life was taken. A very humbling experience. I didn’t know this fine man, but I still grieve for his loss. Rest In Peace.

Sir,

I remember hearing about your death back when it occurred. I was deeply saddened at the time. I served 25 years as a police officer. I recently watched a movie and revisited this horrible day and wanted to let you know that my thoughts and prayers are still with your family. You are a hero. Walk proudly in Heaven alongside Saint Michael our Patron.

Rest in peace and thank you for your service. It was heartbreaking hearing about your death, and even more heartbreaking that the last faces that you should not have seen were the faces of pure evil. But we will remember you more, only and always. And having lost a brother to pure evil, which is still walking the streets and keeping the crime rates up in Stockton, CA, I know it's hard for your family when the loss is just senseless. But hoping that the good memories of you will comfort them daily.

And I'll keep pushing for federal death penalty for cop killers, as killing someone who keeps others safe puts us all at risk in so many ways, while valuable federal training and vetting is lost. But the irony is we now have pay-to-play prosecutors and AG's working for and with organized criminals who abet those who kill and promote cop killing, especially in NYC.

But your death will not be in vain.

I don't recall the starters name at Conkin Golf Course this past Saturday but won't forget the story about his partner Deputy Sheriff Kevin Joseph Tarsia when he saw I was wearing a National Law Officers Memorial Golf Shirt. I should wear that shirt more often to hear the story of heroes.
I wear the shirt in memory of my twin brother NYPD ESU John D'Allara who lost his life a short time before Deputy Tarsia on September 11, 2001 at the World Trade Center NYC.
Our grief runs concurrently and all the time that has passed dosen't mean a thing. There is no clock on this and comforted to see the recent reflections here.
Our family and friends are so sorry for your loss.

Kev I remember all the times you were there for me and my boys Donnie and Brian! You always made us feefw:-) :-) :-) l so loved and appreciated. But when Christie Anne, came into your life I no more than anyone ,that she turned your word upside down! e
She tried so hard to make you look bad she physically and mentally abused you, and I so much wanted to protect you, but I felt that you wanted me to stay out of it, it was hard but I did out of respect for you! And then when your life was taken
as it was that july4th 2002 in the early morning ! Cristieann grass I put a restraining order on our entire family so we could not go to see your things and be in your home for an entire year ,while Christie Anne grassie cleaned out your entire home of all your belongings , not even a piece of your clothing, no nothing was left formom, and dad to have for a keep sake , and she even would not leave mom, and dad until she made way to some of your money!!!! And to see her mug on TV acting like you were her everything!!! If people would just sit back and see the big picture, once and for all!!! Read between the lines!!! Right keV, we all love you more with each minute if that's at all possible, you are the greatest son brother uncle and Sinbad misses you so much !!!! We will all see you in heaven on a day soon!!!!! Love, your sis Cecilia

I did not know you and am not worthy to even say anything here. I just wanted to know your name because so many times these killers get the attention and no one remembers the people and loved ones who were the victims. Rest in peace. Thank you for your service.
