Reflections for Police Officer Joseph E. Hanusey, III
I remember fondly the days when you were brand new to the uniform and to Plumstead...it was always nice to see a friendly face on scene willing to lend a hand. It saddens me to learn of your untimely passing, but I consider myself blessed for the few moments I was able to know you. May you watch over us all, patrolling forever on the wings of angels.

To the Family of Officer Joseph Hanusey and the Brothers and Sisters of the Plumstead P.D. my heart felt condolences to each and everyone of you. We all answer the call for service without hesitation, but never so urgently so when 'back-up' is asked for by another officer. Joseph made the ultimate sacrifice, and always remember,"That no greater love hath a man, than to lay down his life for another".

To the Family of another Fallen Hero. My thoughts and prayers go out to you in a time that everyone fears. I never knew Officer Hanusey. I dont even know where Plumstead Township is. But this man, to whom I never had the honor or priveldge of knowing laid his life down for us. For that I am eternally greatful.
