Your heroism and service is honored today, the ninety-first anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
Rest In Peace.

Officer Harris, 87 years ago today, you were murdered by a couple of hobos. Your life of contribution to society was cut short by some guys who contributed nothing and took much. The Railroad was and is still a vital part of what makes America great and you, and men and women like you do your best to keep the Rails safe. Thank you for your efforts. I know you are resting comfortably in Heaven.
