You will be greatly missed. As one of your SWAT members, it was an honor to pay tribute to you and your family with the 21 gun salute. We all laughed and said you would probably prefer we empty a 30 round mag, but we stuck with tradition.

Bob,
You are going to be greatly missed by your family, the members of the Charlottesville Police Department, and by the community in which you so loyally served. Thanks for being my supervisor and a good friend. I am going to miss the advice and help you gave me through the years on related work and family matters. We can all learn something through your positive attitude and gracious acts of kindness and loyalty to your family, community, and through your leadership as a Charlottesville Police Officer. You will be greatly missed by all of us, although we will always keep you and your family in our prayers and thoughts. You have commendably served your family, the police department, and the community. I am proud and honored to have had the opportunity to share some of these moments with you. I will miss you my friend. Please rest in peace, you are in a better place now.

Bob, though I worked with you for only two short years, you always treated me with respect and kindness and greeted me with a smile. Being a new officer to the midnight shift, where you were once a commander, you were always there to remind the new recruits of the importance of officer safety and truly looked after those under your command. Today, April 17, 2002, I learned more from you and about you that will make me a stronger person as I move forward.

God bless.

Rest in peace, Lt. Frazier, your watch is on a higher level now. May God bring comfort to your family, friends and department.
