Your heroism and service is honored today, the 107th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

I was doing a google search to find out some history on my family name and this result was one that was returned. Even though it was over 100 years ago it still impacted me in a way that is very hard to describe. My condolences to any of his family that remains. My uncle is an inspector with the RCMP in Ottawa, Canada. The death of any peace officer holds has special meaning to me. Stay safe and know that people in all walks of life all over the world hold you all dear in their hearts with nothing but the greatest respect for the job you so selflessly do.
