Light bulbs! Glad to see in some dreams lately. Just wish we could talk, but seeing that smile still makes me smile.

I think about you often Larry. You’re missed so much by everyone. Keep watch over your family and the thin blue line. Things are pretty tough out there... rest easy. Never forgotten.

The anniversary of your death is approaching, every year I dread it. The rest of the year I try not to think about it. Although, the constant murder of other officers is a difficult reminder and makes me so angry.
How touching all these reflections are! These people are wonderful. I’ve also had the most unexpected opportunities to meet and work with many State Police personnel. They are all so genuine and thoughtful. We recently had the pleasure of meeting K9 Gleason and Tpr. Redden. You’d love them both. The dog’s personality can’t help but to make you smile!
I wonder what you are up to, probably something funny with Harky. I know you are with me on some of my commutes! And I’m pretty sure you are with Larry and Nate out in the woods! Keep blowing the light bulbs, watch over us & keep us safe.

Trooper Lawrence P. Gleason, thank you for being a New York State Trooper, and for being a caring human being. I did not know you personally, but I did know your sister who I had the pleasure of working with on the Troop D construction project in 2010. Your sister told me several stories about you, and I have read every single Reflection written about you. I'm including Larry and his family in my prayers tonight along with Trooper Joel R. Davis who was murdered last night, and NYC Police Officer M. Familia who was murdered last week.

Fifteen years today - Sometimes feels like forever and other times just yesterday. Can't begin to describe how much you are missed by so many. If only ...

14 years ago today was the worst day of my life. The day I lost you I lost a part of me. Missing you more and more as time goes by. Remembering your smile makes me smile.

Dear Larry, I wanted to leave a message here to let you know you have not been, and never will be forgotten. I still remember the kindness back then you showed my disabled son. He is grown now and has become a sucessful chef and he still has a picture of you. He still remembers you showing him the inside of your troop vehicle. Its sad that you are gone, but more important men like you were here to make a difference.

Dear Larry, My son and I wanted to remember you on the sad 12th anniversary of your passing into eternal life. You were very kind to my son years ago, when he suffered numerous disabilities, but has grown into a fine young man. He still has a picture of you, and though he struggles with writing out words and thoughts, he asked me to leave something here to know you are never forgotten.
