Your heroism and service is honored today, the 93rd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

Officer Stephens daughter and I attend church together she has shared all the clippings and any memory she has of Her father.
I am reminded of the countless people who protect and serve
as a way of life.
Having the opertunity to sit and talk with the little girl he left behind now (88 or 89). Helps me to reflect on the sacrfices of outhers that allows us to live in the wounderful United States Of America and enjoy the freedom we have.

For those of us now serving it helps us to care for and love our spouses, children and friends even harder..
