Reflections for Captain Josiah D. Baxter
Captain Baxter, it has been 149 years since you were taken from us. New England law enforcement has continued to thrive, learn and become safer due to the traditions and sacrifices you, your family, and many others have made for us. Thank you for your 17 years of law enforcement service.

We have not forgotten. While we have no grave to mourn at, we have searched and have an idea. We will not rest until we can salute you properly.
Much love and respect.

Now it's 143 years and I salute a true pioneer in Massachusetts Law Enforcement. I have a feeling you are looking down now in disgust at how things have gone in this Great Commonwealth as far as "Justice" is concerned.
How has the welcome gone for our Brother Sean Gannon? No doubt you have all bonded.
God Bless you still, Brother and may your rest STILL be peaceful.
