Your heroism and service is honored today, the 56th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminsihe srespe t and your memory will always be honored and revered.

Claude "Uncle Ernest to me" was a very kind, considerate,and passionate person who loved his family, friends, and fellow officers. Thanks to all who have written reflections to these who have and thos who are serving the public in the various enforcement agencies.
