Your ultimate sacrifice has paved the way to ensuring that other peoples safety is maintained. I am proud to be from the part of Texas that you once protected. Your efforts to serve and protect are not in vain. They live on and will continue to do so for many years to come. Because of people like you our society will be allowed to grow and will not be halted by criminals. I am looking forward to joining selfless and brave officers such as yourself someday soon as I will become a CT State Trooper. Rest in peace brother.
