NO FARWELLS WERE SPOKEN, NO TIME TO SAY GOODBYE,YOU WERE GONE BEFORE I KNEW IT AND ONLY GOD KNOWS WHY. IF TEARS COULD BUILD A STAIRWAY AND HEARTACHE A LANE, I WOULD WALK THE PATHWAY TO HEAVEN AND BRING YOU BACK AGAIN.
YOUR SMILE,LAUGHTER ANB THE LOVE AND FREINDSHIP WE SHARED WILL ALWAYS BE FOREVER IN MY HEART AND MIND.SEE YOU IN HEAVEN.
I LOVE YOU FOREVER AND ALWAYS
MOM
Well it been 3 weeks since the Lord took you home. He left us all shocked, heartbroken, in disbelief and not prepared for you to leave so young, so full of life, just starting to rebuild your life with the only one girl you ever Loved, and living to your potential everyday. Prentiss is a darker place since we don't have your smile to light up our streets and your laughter and jokes to fill our world. We miss you so much and hope that one day God will make it clear to us why this had to happen.
I love you now ,I loved then, I'll love you always

I know the sorrow of losing a brother officer. I can't imagine the sorrow of losing both a brother officer and a son. Ronald, our prayers are with you and your family. Ron will be sorely missed forever.

There is too much that I can say about Ron. For one, he was one of the greatest people that God ever put on this Earth. He was always there when the world turned its back on you and never hesitated to listen on how you felt. I guess you could say that he was the big brother that I never had. Ron was so much fun to be around and always had a smile across his face no matter what the world had in store from him the present time. He always had the right thing to say and made sure that he gave you the best advice. I loved him to pieces and always will. Ron always told me that he was watching out for me and making sure that I wasn't getting into too much trouble. I always just smiled and laughed when he told me that. But believe it or not, I am even smiling right now; Just b/c I know that he is STILL watching out for me and he always will be. I love you Ron and I am always missing and thinking of you.

Recently, I lost one of my officers when he was shot to death. It seems so recent, but yet so long ago. I decided to check his site to visit him again and was shocked to see the number of officers that had made the ultimate sacrifices since Christmas Day. As law enforcement professionals, we sometimes take it for granted that it will not happen to us or anyone that we know and love. Then comes that tragic day, when one of our own is gone forever. On duty or off, violently or accidentally, the loss is still very much real. To ALL of the family and friends, I extend my deepest sympathy and pray that with time you can remember all of those good times. May GOD bless you all.

I AM DEEPLY SADDENED BY THE DEATH OF A GOOD FRIEND.
I HAVE KNOWN RON SINCE HE WAS 11 YEARS OLD AND HE HAS
MEANT ALOT, NOT JUST TO ME, BUT ALSO MY FAMILY. HE WILL
BE GREATLY MISSED BY EVERYONE THAT CAME IN CONTACT
WITH HIM, ESPECIALLY MY CHILDREN.
I HOPE AND PRAY THAT GOD WILL GIVE RONALD,DONNA,DAVID,
AND DON THE STRENGTH TO RECOVER FROM RON'S SENSELESS
DEATH AND TO MOVE ON WITH THEIR LIVES.

This is one of the hardest things I have ever had to deal with, and I can't begin to imagine how hard it is on the family. Ron was like you and I. He had his faults, but God only knows he didn't deserve to die. For all those who never knew Ron, I can tell you that he was a happy person without a care in the world. He didn't seem to let anything bother him. He loved being the K-9 officer and getting drugs off of the streets and out of the community. This seems so unreal. We keep waiting for Ron to come walking back into the station, even though we know that will never happen. We need to remember that Ron is in Heaven, and we know this because of what they removed from him after his death. He had a pocket sized King James version of the Bible in his uniform pants. So friends, please continue to pray for Ron's family, friends, and co-workers, and help us to have peace and comfort in knowing that Ron is in a better place than you and I.

Family and Friends,
It is so very difficult to read of another death of a "family" member. Understanding it is even more difficult. I will continue to pray for you as you live each day without him. I am asking God to give you a peace and comfort that you have never experienced.

I am so sorry to hear about officer Jones being killed. I live in neighboring Jones County, so it hit pretty close to home. I will continue to remember all of you in our prayers. Look to God for strength to carry on.

To the Family and friends of Officer Ron Jones,
We want to express our our deepest sympathy to you at this very hard time. Loosing a loved one in a line of duty death is never easy but during the Holidys it must be twice as unbearable. We want to encourage you and let you know that we (your family of surviors)will not forget the sacrifice Ron made. We say thank you to you for sharing him and allowing him the chance to make a difference in this world. Hold close the wonderful memories you have of Ron and he will always be with you.

It's hard to understand what this holiday season is like for police officers, who can't always spend it with their families. I'd like to thank Officer Jones and his family for their extreme sacrifice while making this nation a better place. You will be in my prayers.
