Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Billy Ray Walls, III

Thanks so much for your service to your community. My heart goes out to your family, friends, and co-workers who have suffered a great loss. Officer Walls may be gone but the memories you have with him will be with you forever!

MY HEART GOES OUT TO THE FAMILY OF DEPUTY WALLS. IT IS SOMETIMES HARD FOR US TO UNDERSTAND WHY GOD TAKES THOSE HE DOES, BUT WE HAVE TO ACCEPT THAT THERE IS A REASON. I TRULY BELIEVE THERE IS A SPECIAL PLACE IN HEAVEN FOR POLICE OFFICERS WHO GIVE THEIR LIVES IN THE SERVICE OF OF THEIR COMMUNITY AND I PRAY THAT HIS FAMILY CAN TAKE SOLACE FROM THE FACT THAT NOW HE IS WATCHING OVER THEM FROM HEAVEN.

Billy,
It was an honor to work with you in the past and to have still been a friend. I will remember all of the good times on the golf course and just talking. My thoughts and prayers go out with your family. It was just a couple of weeks ago you were out in front of my house with your wife and baby girl and we were talking with David about having a cook out this summer with all our families. I never knew someone more dedicated to the law enforcement community. And it seemed like you had the roughest road of all of us. Just when I had thought all of the bad things that could happen to one person were over for you, this happened. Your fellow brothers were there at the hospital with the hopes that like the other times, we would be told that we could go in to talk with you. But that announcement never came and I think we are all still in shock that it hasn't. I will never forget you and know that you are in a much safer and better place now. We will try to do all that we can for your family and keep them in our hearts. The next few days are going to be hard, especially at the funeral. Knowing that you took such pride in caring for others and fallen officers and you would be if it were another fallen officer. We will never forget you and carry your memory with us always. God Bless you and your family.

Our hearts and prayers go out to Deputy Walls family and friends.

I never knew that this web site was here until a good friend and co-worker died in the line of duty by some cowardly person. But since then I visit it alot and it makes me sad that almost every day another name is added. I am sorry for the loss of this fine Officer and I want the family and brothers in blue to know that my prayers are with each and everyone of you. He is in a much better place where he is watching over all of us at this moment. He was a hero before he left us and now he is an angel looking after us. God bless and everyone stay safe.

Officer Spencer Salyers
Whitehall Police Department

We will all miss you Billy. You were a fine officer who carried out his job with respect and integrity. I pray tonight that I never have to leave a message like this again. My fellow law enforcement brothers...when you hit your knees tonight, send a prayer up for Billy's wife and newborn. God bless...and God rest.

It looks like Kaley is off to a good start following in your footsteps! She got her first bump on the head. Hopefully it will be her only one but with your blood running through her that is just not a likelyhood.
When I look at her like I did today she seems so full of your energy. I swear that child has your soul living in her so strong. She's going to be off and running soon. Ems has already started a file on her hopefully it won't be as thick as yours.
Been two months. It's not any easier any suggestions? See you old friend.
