Reflections for Trooper Frank Galvan Vazquez
Vazquez family, my prayers are with you. Your Trooper is a true hero. I know you will never forget him. Like him, my brother Trooper Jody Dye, was struck while on foot by a drunk driver in Columbus on 270 in 1985. Like him, my brother left behind a wonderful family. His two girls never forgot him and grew into beautiful Ladies. I pray the Vazquez children have incredibly blessed lives for their sacrifice. I also know his other family miss him too. May God comfort you all with His eternal peace.

The suspect certainly deserves more time behind bars after committing a DUI again!
May you rest in peace Trooper Vazquez. My condolences to your wife, children, and community.

Frankie I still think about the days we met up on ST RT 41 at the Der Dutchman and how we tag teamed violators coming into the village. Thank you for being there for me on those traffic stops. I still wish that I could of been there for you to block traffic that night. I think of you all the time and I still pray for your family. I am now a police officer in Cobb County Georgia and sharing memories I had with you. Rest well my friend.

So sorry you were taken from you family at such a young age. I am also so sorry to hear of what your wife is going through right now. She is strong and I know she can get thru this as well. I will keep you and them in my prayers.

Hey Frank I miss you soo much I have been thinking about you I do every November and Christmas. I still have your christmas ornament that we used to put on our tree every year as kids. I put you on top like you always like to do. Every year that I have had a tree of my own I have put it on the top with mine right under it just like when we were kids.I tell Joey about how we used to fight about whose was the highest on the tree. Joey is 7 now and he is doing good he askes about you sometimes and I tell him about you alot. He wants to be a cop like you and he also says when he grows up he wants to be a superhero just like you used to say when you were little. I can only hope and pray that he grows up to be half the man you were. Love always and Merry Christmas
