God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
You gave your life to make a change for the betterment of mankind. You are truly an angel. God saw that and took you to be with Him at his side.
Thank you for your sacrifice. We love you, dear one. Life is eternal and we will meet some day. In the meantime, please pray for us as we pray for you daily.

Happy Birthday Mijo
We may never understand the things
God permits to be.
To lose someone in the newness
of life and energy.
Our hearts are broken and
the pain seems so much.
It is then we feel his firm
and gentle touch.
God knows each time a young man is
born and taken away, our son Robert
was one he didn't allow to stay.
The angels carried Robert
high to see the King.
"Gone but never forgotten"
We love you so much Mijo.
Together forever

FAREWELL
No farewells were spoken
There was no time for Good-byes
You were gone before we knew it.
Only God knows why.
If tears could build a staiway
And hearts could build a lane
We would walk away to heaven
To bring you back agin.
Friends may think we have forgotten
When at times they see us smile
Little do they know the heartache
Our smiles hide all the while.
To some you may be forgotten
To others a part of the past,
But to those who loved and lost you
Your memory will always last.

To the family of Officer Solis
He did not die in vain he died doing what he loved to do helping others, you are in our thoughts and prayers, and you will be together again. Also please remember, he was taken because there needed to be a changing of the guard at the pearly gates.

I just want you to know how much I miss you. Things have been tough, but they are getting better. The survivors guilts is getting easier, but there is not a day that goes by that I don't think about you and that Day. I miss our conversations about anything and everything. I know that you and Damon are watching over me.
Thank you for being a part of my life and the experience that we have encountered.
God Bless You and watch over those who would give the ultimate sacrifice.

I knew Robert when I went to school with him at NMMI. I remember him always being in a good mood, no matter what. He would always cheeer us up, especially after room inspection. He lived in town, so on weekends he would take us to his house. I just can't believe this has happened! I will miss him very much. Knowing Robert, he is making everybody in heaven laugh.
Your rat buddy,

I knew Robert, because I worked with his aunt at New Mexico Military Institute where he attended college. He was a very special young man that enjoyed life and most of all loved his family very much. He will be forever missed by his family and friends.
