Reflections for Master Special Officer Craig J. Miller
Thank you, Master Special Officer Craig J. Miller, for your dedication to God, your family and, ultimately, your country.
Your valor on United Flight 93, along with the other passengers who attempted to re-take the plane from terrorists on that horrible day, is a testament to your bravery, your forthrightness, and your knowledge that what you did was the simply the right thing to do.
Your sacrifice was not in vain, and you will never be forgotten. Your family and friends remain in my prayers.
God speed and God bless. Rest in peace, Ofc. Miller.
God Bless America.

A week ago I retired from this outstanding organization, but my career would not be complete without "thanking you" for the ultimate sacrifice you have given during a time when heroes rose to the occasion. You have made me very proud to be a member of law enforcement and especially with the United States Secret Service. May God always bless you and keep you by his side. May he also watch over your family and please be assured that we will always be there for them!I salute you Master Special Officer Miller -"a true American Hero!"

Craig, My wife I are so proud of you, our Son-In-Law. I regret having missed you by a few hours on September 9, 2001 I was late and you had already left for the scheduled assignment in New York City. Little did I know that I would never see you again. You were a loving father and husband to my daugher and your sons. I'll never forget how proud you were as you met Reba and I in the hospital parking-lot for a visit with you and our daughter. And, especially to see the newly born twin boys. I remember how your large hands were so gentle when holding the little guys. And your proud smile while givng a quick class to my wife and I on "how to hold little babies." When my daughter looks at the twins, she sees you in them. A constant reminder of her love for you through your sons. When she sends us pictures of the growing young lads, we see you in their smiling faces. Oh Craig, How we miss you. May you Rest in Peace with the Angels in Heaven.

God Bless You and your Family,
Craig, I never knew you personally, but I also like you worked for the same private security company before moving on to bigger and brighter things in Law Enforcement. I came to that company just after you left for the Secret Service, and everyone that knew talked highly, and proud to have known you. I am really good friends with one of your friends form that company, and I must say that you were highly respected. You did the ultimate sacrifice, and for that I am proud to have you as a fellow BROTHER in BLUE.
May God be with you and your family,
Tim THANK-YOU!

Ofc. Craig Miller,
Sir, it is the third anniversary since the Trade Center attacks. Like so many other Americans I am buried in the wieght of such sacrafice. I see your reflections and I am reminded of what truly makes this Country such a special place to live. Your memory thunders in the lives of all your brothers and sisters in law enforcement who have promised to serve with the HONOR you have. Sir, I pray for your family and for those who were close to you. Sir, I pray that they realize you are never forgotten in this Law Enforcement family and that your sacrafice is not in vain. We draw strength from you and we learn to live stronger, live better, with more dignity and honor. There are no words to help any of this, but I promise you to try and find them, to try and live them. I only know you because of Your BRAVERY and HONOR. I know you because of this sacred page. You Honor your Family, You Honor us and have made a TRUE difference in this world. What a great life lived. "Poi si torno' all' eterna fontana."

There are but two persons who protect the sinful human race from destroying itself. One is God's Holy Spirit. The other is the Peace Officer. Without them, we would all perish at each other's hands.
You were called into this profession and our Lord and Savior has blessed you because:
According to Romans 13.1-5...
God ordains the Peace Officer’s profession.
The Peace Officer is sent by God.
The Peace Officer is vested with God's authority to enforce the law.
A Peace Officer's badge is to be honored by us, because God honors it.
You gave the ultimate sacrifice, your life for your fellow man, while serving, defending, and protecting others in your community.
Thank you for your service to America. Your efforts saved thousand that horrible day.
My thoughts and prayers go out to your family and friends. You will be in our hearts forever.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

Dear Craig,
I saw your mom and dad the other day. They brought 4 photo albums for me to see. There were pictures of your memorial, pictures of your home that you designed, and pictures of your boys. Craig, your sons are beautiful. So big and strong. One looks like you and the other like Brian. They are your family's pride and joy. Throughout your career your dad would share each new accomplishment with me. And when your sons were born nothing could remove his smile. He was always so proud to share your achievements with others. And now your sons' achievements will provide continued pride, and comfort too. We know you're in a better place but we wish you were here.
To the victims and survivors of Sept. 11, God Bless You. God Bless America, and every child in the world. To Craig and all our Heroes - your commitment, courage and sacrifice will not be forgotten. Rest in peace.

To my cousin Craig and all of the fallen Officers,
The tragedy that was brought upon us on September 11th will always be remembered. I am truly proud to be related to someone so special that he would put other American citizens in trouble ahead of himself, without even a second thought. I pray for our family as well as all the other families and friends of our fallen heros. A tragedy such as this truly put things into perspective. Life is too short, appreciate all that you have for you never know when it will be gone. Craig, you will be missed greatly, and we will never, ever forget your sacrifice. Your heroism will live on in all of us, especially in your sons.
Love, Lisa
Lisa A. Lord
Your death will be avenged and your heroism, bravery and sacrifice will never be forgotten!
My Prayers are with all the friends and family of all the officers who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
I lost my brother tragically, Det. David Taylor, Greensboro PD, On August 7, 2001. I was in NY for my fiancee's Mother's funeral the first of Sept. I was stranded there for 3 weeks due to this atrocity. As I watched the events on TV, I cried for all those who lost their lives. But was especially emotional about the Police Officers and the Firefighters and their families, as I had just recently suffered a tragic loss myself. As I walked through the streets in the days following the attack, I cried with pride as I saw the officers on duty on all the corners in the city. I knew how hard it was for them, knowing they had lost their friends. On the Sat. following the attack I was at St. Patrick's for mass. The last 2 people to go up and take communion were 2 NYPD officers, again I cried. I hope all of you are getting the support that my family and I got when we needed it, from the Deparment. I know the comforting words and even the funny stories the officers tell us about my brother helps. I know that our loved ones who are gone from here, had a higher calling and are happy and at peace in Heaven. Hopefully we can all feel that same peace one day! God bless All of you! And God bless America!
