Officer Dominguez,
I was 11 years old on September 11th, 2001. Today, at 29, I am a dispatcher and police officer. Yesterday I participated in a memorial stair climb put on every year at the Cahokia Mounds in Collinsville, IL. For this memorial event, we are each assigned a fallen hero from 9/11 and we climb in their honor. Yesterday, I climbed for you. Your sacrifice will not be forgotten. God Bless.

Ming - Was getting my a car washed down the street from the base today and I was gonna go by to say hi, but I didn’t want to deal with the new cops on the gate ... so I’ll say it on your page. I’ll never forget, and as you know I’ll be wearing your shield and thinking of you for the rest of my days. Later bro ...

Though I do not know Jerome Dominguez personally, I would like to salute and remember him for his dedication to service before self. He is not only a Brother in Blue but, a Brother in Arms. I served at the Niagara Falls ARS, Niagara Falls, N.Y., as a Security Policeman (23 years). Jerome your spirit will never die! May GOD Bless you for your self-sacrifice to protect and defend the city and nation you loved. May your family hearts be at peace knowing you are a hero and moved on to serve GOD as one of his Angels. May GOD Bless your family and the United States of America! Jerome, you will never be forgotten!

Hello brother. I wear a Memorial band for you that I got before I became a cop. When I joined the NYPD, I was assigned to the 43 PCT-right next to your Truck 3. I made friends with your friends. What are the chances? I'm sure you helped to keep me, and all of us, safe. You are loved and missed, Jerome. God bless you, Warrior. We will see you again someday.

I will always remember the young kid across from me at the Mount.
As we approach the tenth anniversary of his tragic and heroic death, it gives me some satisfaction that my ship played a small part in providing closure. America keeps her promises.
