Hi Terry,
I never got the opportunity to meet you I wish I had, I did ride this year with Angie for the 4th Annual and visited your place of rest for the 1st time for the support of Angie as well. I also have a husband that is a Police Officer for CPD named Mario and I don't know how Angie stays as strong as she does for what she has been through maybe, it's the love and guidance you have showed her. I also wanted to let you know that I invited Angie to join me in a Motorcycle Riders Course which she is now doing and today was are 1st day on the Bikes and we both don't great but I did remember 2 days ago in class Angie spoke of a promise she made you to ride and she is doing just that please continue to watch over her and guide her thru the rest of her life.
Thank you for taking the time to listen to me.

It's hard to believe that over 4 years has passed since you've been taken from us. A couple of us were talking today about the Battle of the Badge and how you contributed to that yearly competition. It's hard to fathom how somone strong and healthy can be robbed from this world so quickly. You've been hard to replace.

I just want to thank you Terry. Because of your caring way with the kids of Whitehall, my sons Tyler and Austin still remember getting stickers and trading cards from you and Spencer. They still talk about you guys quite often. They really look up to you. Tyler also remembers Angie and Terry from when he played T-ball for the Braves. They were only 3 and 4 years old at the time we moved from Whitehall. So thank you to all of you for your committment to showing these kids what real heroes are. Terry you will never be forgotten!

Terry, sorry I missed your memorial and was unable to write you until now. I got married and life has been pretty chaotic. Every year at this time reminds me of my first rip to DC for the memorial. It was my first taste of reality as we said good bye to a friend and watched as our nation was attacked. You'll always be remembered and your sacrifice was not in vain. Continue to watch over us brother.

As always I wanted to let you know what an absolutely tremendous woman your wife is. Her shear dedication to helping out Officers families is spectacular. Of any good that can come from one's death.... her benefit has created a unique bond for those with a badge. Her and Spencer's continual efforts to build an organization of brotherhood is undescribable. I'm proud that my wife has gotten to know Angie and has taken interest in what we do.

Rest in peace brother!!

Four years. It just dont seem possible. The memories of you are as if they occured just yesterday. I was just telling someone the other day how you got the nickname "Frank". I laugh every time I tell that story. You were the topic of conversation at SWAT training the other day, as normal. Even some of the guys who dont know you are starting to feel like they do. They just dont know what they missed out on. Well I hope you enjoyed the beer I left for you because I know I enjoyed the empty ones that I left for you as well. I never know how to end this because it is natural for me to say take care. So I will end it with, keep taking care of your brothers down here and I will see you when I get there.

I remember once I you at the Speedway working special duty and I stopped to talk with you. You were pissed off because the P.D. staff didn't give the proper recognition to officers for doing good work. "I work hard and they keep busting my balls". I know what you meant Terry.
We had your memorial today at Little Flower. There was a good crowd, and the media was there too. Your recognized brother, and remembered. Your picture is on my locker, not to remember the day or way you died, but to remember that the way you lived and that you were my friend.
I feel guilty a lot for being here. Watching my kids grow, spending time with them, my wife, dogs, running, playing football. Things you liked to do, but can't.
There was kind of a spooky thing that happened at London this year. Were you responsible for that?
Remebering you this 24th of Aug. 2005

It will be four years that you were the warrior carried away on his shield after battle. I know the pain is still in the hearts of your family and close friends and will be there for a very long time. Keep watch over your family and help ease their pain and also watch over your brothers and sisters in blue still on patrol. You are a true hero and will never be forgotten.

Terry,
We rode in your 3rd Annual Poker Run yesterday. There was a great turn out and it was a great run. I think everyone had a really great time. I finally saw your gravesite. They left you a couple of beers. Something I am sure you enjoyed. I also saw Angie's tree.....

Be with Angie and the kids this month. I know she has a rough time this time of year. She works so hard to make sure that nobody forgets and that all us "new" ones are taken care of.

The kids were over for a cook out last week. Seth is such a little man but still a boy all wrapped up in one. He does so well with the little ones. My son, Landon just idolizes him. He is so handsome just like you. And little Taylor is just like her mommy... 100% attitude but as lovable as can be. She doesn't take any crap from anyone and calls a spade a spade.

Watch over them all as they honor you on the 24th and at the upcoming benefits.

Love you Angie....

Terry,
I have heard so many stories about you...what a guy you were! And you and Angie had this incredible bond, so amazing to hear about and so evident in the way she talks about you. Angie is an AMAZING woman...as I am sure you know. I don't know what I would do without her. She's been such a great friend to me and has become one of my best friends. She's there for each new survivor, so supportive and caring. It's truly wonderful to watch. I watch and I learn! You have 2 beautiful children. Seth is the coolest kid, my boys LOVE him. They want him to move in with us. And Taylor, so cute...she's going to be the first female U.S. President, you just wait! Thank you for your sacrifice and keep watching over Angie and the kids.

"T",

Well hun, it has been a long time since I left you a note. It is not that you are not in my thoughts and prayers every waking minute of every day but life is moving rather quickly. So many things have happened. I have met some very incredible people since you were taken from me. I believe those friendships that have been forged out of such tragedy are the ones that will last a lifetime. I just hope that I do them justice and help them get through all the firsts that they will go through. Oh believe me, I am not expert and there are days when it is a feat to get out of bed but I hope that the insight I can give them will help make the transition easier.

I met an incredible lady. Her name is Sara and she lost her husband in October to a senseless @#$ while trying to do the right thing for this person. It just amazes me the way life throws you curves. Sara will have to undergo something that I never did though. She has to endure a trial and I hope and pray that "justice" is delivered. I never had the opportunity to meet her husband, Brandy, but I am sure that you have. The things that Sara has told me only tells me that he was one hell of a guy, much like you. I am sure that you have met up with him, helped him and now are watching over both of us. Hopefully, we will never let you down.

I hope the friendships that I have formed here on Earth you have had the opportunity to forge in Heaven. There were some pretty incredible people taken from us here and now I must rely on you all up there to help us down here.

It is Easter and the kids enjoyed the Easter egg hunt and finding their baskets. Isn't it silly how that darn bunny continues to hide their baskets from them. Maybe he is trying to help with the dentist bills.

I have to go for now but I want you to know that you are missed and loved on this Easter day.

Angie

Terry,
Angie is an amazing woman. Thank you for giving her the strength to honor you in so many ways. Without her I wouldn't be able to get out of bed everyday and face this journey. She honors you in so many ways. You have an amazing family. We will never let anyone forget our sacrifices. I wish I could of known you, I have heard many great stories.

TERRY, IT'S BEEN AWHILE!! LOST ANOTHER FRIEND TODAY AND OF COURSE YOUR FACE CAME TO MIND. I SEE ANGIE FROM TIME TO TIME. WANT YOU TO KNOW WHAT AN AMAZING WOMAN SHE IS. THE TREMENDOUS SUPPORT AND EFFORTS SHE PUTS INTO HELPING FAMILIES AND OFFICERS IS INCREDIBLE. HER EFFORTS IN HELPING US MAKES ME REALIZE YOUR DEATH WAS NOT IN VAIN. CONTINUE TO WATCH OVER US AND WE'LL CONTINUE TO WATCH OVER YOURS.

Terry,
Its been 3 years since you've been taken from your family and brothers in blue. I feel like it was just yesterday when I used to talk to you at Krogers(special duty) and tell you of the PD I am working for. You would be happy to know, even today, 3 years later, I see your name and badge #32 almost everywhere I look in Whitehall. You will never be forgotten my brother in blue.

Terry, It has been a little over 3 years and it still seems like yesterday that our lives changed forever. Your watch ended here on earth and you began a new; protecting and looking out for your loved ones from above. We also began a new chapter, trying to deal with the events of August 24, 2001 and trying to make sure that your memory lived on as best possible. You would be so proud of Angie and the work that she is doing to benefit other families that are forced into the same circumstances as your family and our family was 3 years ago. On a personal note, you come to my thoughts on a daily basis...for so many reasons, but most recently when I look at our new daughter, Ellie. That is right, Eric is a father & she looks just like him!! Thank you, Terry, for you sacrifice. Please know I thank you & pray for your family each day.
