Reflections for Sergeant Joseph Dan Adams
My heart goes out to Officer Adam's family and the Lehi Police Department. It's sad to realize that even a beautiful small community like yours can be visited by those who would destroy. I didn't know Joe personally, but I'm sure he was a good officer and was a person of honor: otherwise you wouldn't have hired him. I have always repected your agency and community. During my years in law enforcement I have always been impressed with my dealings with your department. Joe would have been a reflection of this.
My God Bless each of you.
Lt. Kelly James Larson
St. George Police Department

God Bless you Officer Adams. America mourns your passing. Thank you for your dedication to serve and protect.
Captain Robert Cannon, Retired
Vermilion County(IL) Sheriff's Dept.
Thank you Officer Adams for risking and giving your life so that we all may live in peace. Far too many people don't realize the dangers officers face while conducting traffic stops. They signal to other motorists when they see officers with radar guns and complain about paying petty traffic fines for offenses they are guilty of. I recognize the danger Officer Adams faced with each traffic stop as he kept these deadly drivers off of our roadways. It is what I look forward to doing when I become an officer, while remembering his sacrifice. God bless you all.
